To remotely control another computer using TeamViewer, you need the other computer's ID.
For example, if you turn on TeamViewer on your friend's computer, you can call the code written in the 'your ID' part of the red arrow in the image above to the unknown friend. Then, the unknown friend runs TeamViewer on his/her computer to remotely control the unknown friend's PC, and receives the code called by the unknown friend in the red arrow on the right and 'Partner ID' in the image above.
